Kentucky Bride magazine will begin publishing quarterly in 2010. With interest from retail outlets like Borders, Target, Walgreens and Walmart, Kentucky Bride will be in these and other chains starting with the winter (January) 2010 edition.
KVC Behavioral HealthCare of Olathe, Kansas, has announced the acquisition of Croney & Clark of Lexington. KVC, established in 1970, is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides medical and behavioral health care, social services and education to children and families. KVC serves 18,000 children and families in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, West Virginia and Kentucky. Croney & Clark was established in 1990 by Elizabeth Croney and James Clark. The agency provides social services and behavioral health care to children and their families.

The Robin's Nest Gift Shop has moved into the historic Samuel McAfee house at 200 Main Street in Salvisa. Joann and Stephen Robinson, owners of the Robin's Nest, bought the McAfee house in 2007 and after extensive renovations have relocated their gift shop there. The shop sells primitives, antiques, candles and home decor items. The Robinsons plan to add a country store with jams and jellies, fudge and more.
