The Kentucky Horse Council will present Equine Abuse Investigation: A Hands-On Seminar, designed for animal control officers, sheriffs and or local and state officials who may be involved in equine abuse cases in Kentucky. The two-day class will be May 22-23 at the Jessamine County Extension Office and the Kentucky Equine Humane Center in Nicholasville. The class will be taught by instructors from Day's End Farm Horse Rescue in Maryland and specialists in Kentucky's police and legal system and Kentucky equine veterinarians. Cost: $50.
