City brings in consultants to help with police, fire pension
To help bring the unfunded liability of Lexington's police and fire pension fund under control, the city has enlisted Public Financial Management Inc. consultants to create a consensus among the fund's many stakeholders and present changes to Kentucky's General Assembly early next year.
