Is it worth it to shop at the warehouse stores?
Now that Costco has come to Lexington — at the corner of Man o' War and Polo Club boulevards — it is giving Sam's Club some competition.
I'm often asked whether it is worth it to shop at these stores instead of your local grocery store. I recently visited both stores to weigh in on that question.

I have been getting questions about what I think of Kroger and Meijer no longer doubling coupons. Kroger will stop doing it Sept. 22. Meijer already has.

Often when I talk to people about couponing they say they just don’t have time. I suggest it’s worth it to find time to save money. Clipping coupons can save you hundreds of dollars throughout the year. And there are many other ways to save, too.

When you are young you get the child menu pricing at some restaurants. As you get older, you can find a student discount at some stores. Hit 55 and some stores start to give you a senior discount.
