A tour group of 38 Australians took a train ride on July 28 on the Bluegrass Scenic Railroad in Versailles. The Christian church group included residents of Perth, Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne. The visitors, many of whom have farming backgrounds, viewed the rural Kentucky countryside from the train, including corn crops, tobacco and thoroughbred horses. After visiting the railroad museum, the group boarded a tour bus to Nashville, the next stop in their tour of America. Call (859) 873-2476 or visit www.bgrm.org.
