■ Lexington-based ­YouthRoots.com, published by Lightworks New Media, has been nominated for a Webby and People's Voice Award for best religion and spirituality Web site. The Webby awards are presented by the ­International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-member group of Web experts and business figures. ■ The Consolidated District Laymen will sponsor a prayer breakfast at 8 a.m. at Greater First Baptist-Sharpsburg, Ash and Montgomery Streets.

■ PresFest 2008: One Voice, an outdoor festival and concert, will be 3 to 6 p.m., Versailles ­Presbyterian Church, 130 North Main Street, Versailles. ■ First Presbyterian Church Youth will hold an auction at the church, 171 Market Street, Lexington. The silent auction is 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.; live auction begins at 1:20. Admission is free. Proceeds benefit the church's youth missions.

■ Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church, 744 Charles Avenue, Lexington, will have an afternoon of praise and worship featuring the A Cappella Men's Choir of Greater Liberty Baptist Church, Lexington, at 4 p.m.

■ Perfect Peace Ministry will present The Gospel Caravan at Woodford Community Christian Church, 320 Hope Lane, ­Versailles, at 6 p.m. Featured guests will be Kenny McKinney, Narrow Road, Kenny Speakes, Carol Watson, The ­Highbargers, The Hilltop Trio and The Master's Servants. ■ Troy Presbyterian Church, 11021 Troy Pike, Versailles, will have ”Silence Is Golden.“ Pledges received before Sunday will shorten pastor David Duggan's sermon at the rate of one minute per $100 pledged. Worship service at 11 a.m. will be followed by a potluck lunch and silent auction. Fair Trade products, Troy note cards and vintage Troy cookbooks will be sold; and door prizes will be awarded. ■ The adult choir of the Presbyterian Church of Danville, 500 West Main Street, will perform a concert of classics and spirituals at 3 p.m. May 4. Admission is free.

■ The Cathedral of Christ the King and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington will present ”A Catholic Vision of the Church: A Community of Disciples“ on May 6 with the Rev. Thomas Baima, author and theologian with the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary, Archdiocese of Chicago. This lecture will be at the cathedral, 299 Colony Boulevard, in Hehman Hall. A reception will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the lecture and Q&A at 7. The event is free, but registration is required. ■ The Leadership of the Christian Community and Concerned Citizens will have a March for Transformation at 1:30 p.m. May 10 in Harrodsburg. Christians and concerned people from Mercer County and surrounding communities will have the opportunity to march through the streets of Harrodsburg in support of transformation.
