A former Scott County basketball player facing a felony drug charge must serve 60 days in jail for violating his bond agreement, a judge ordered Monday.
A judge declined Monday to remove himself from a case that involves a man who punched his attorney in the judge's courtroom. Peter Hafer, 30, punched attorney Doug Crickmer during a Feb. 4 hearing in front of Scott Circuit Judge Rob Johnson. Hafer had been charged with burglarizing the Georgetown Kmart.

The attorney for a Lexington woman accused of dumping her newborn child in the trash waived a preliminary hearing Thursday, and the case will go to a grand jury. Tonya Nicole Brown, 25, has been charged with murder. State police allege that on April 6, Brown placed her newborn daughter in a plastic bag and put her in a trash bin near a gas station in Shelbyville. Police arrested Brown on April 11, a day after they found the baby's body. Brown's bond was lowered from $500,000 full cash to $250,000...
