BRIEFS: 9/12 Project changes meeting site

A meeting hosted by the Kentucky 9/12 Project has changed locations. A speech by state Rep. Stan Lee on the anniversary of the signing of the Kentucky Resolution will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 10. The new location is Thomas and King Leadership and Conference Center at Georgetown College Athletic Complex, 100 Crawford Drive.

The Kentucky 9/12 Project is a grass-roots movement based on nine principles and 12 values that seeks to "bring us back to the people we were September 12, 2001, the day after America was attacked, when we were not from red states or blue states, but the United States," according to the group's mission statement.

Visit www.KY912.com for details on coming events or how to join.
