A Nicholasville man died early Saturday after the vehicle he was driving hit a tree.
Around 5 a.m., a 1999 Ford pickup driven by Lucas Berry hit a tree next to Ky. 1268, according to the Jessamine County sheriff's office.
Berry later was declared dead at University of Kentucky Hospital from chest injuries.
His passenger, Jacob Berry, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
