Animal shelter needs foster homes
The Paris Animal Welfare Society is gearing up for an influx of puppies and kittens and needs community members to provide foster homes. PAWS will supply food, litter, crates etc. The animals only need love and a safe place to stay while PAWS looks for homes. The commitment for puppies is usually four to five weeks, as they get adopted quickly; kittens may take a little longer. The goal is to keep them healthy and start socializing them, so they are ready to go to their new homes.
To help by fostering or by donating a carrier or crate or funds to purchase one, contact Elaine at (859) 293-9397 or Cynthia at (859) 749-8386 in the evening.
Donations may be mailed to PAWS at P.O. Box 222, Paris, Ky., 40362.
