Midway College is focus of Cane Ridge Day

Midway College was the focus of the annual Cane Ridge Day celebration held June 28 at the historic Cane Ridge Shrine in Bourbon County. Church members told the histories of the Midway Christian Church and the historic Second Christian Church, both institutions with ties to the history of Midway College. Midway College President Emeritus Robert Botkin was a guest speaker.

Francisco Farm Fine Arts and Crafts show

Francisco's Farm Invitational Fine Arts & Craft Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Midway College, 512 East Stephens Street, Midway. Activities include outdoor exhibitions of juried artwork, special exhibits, and live music. Admission is $5 per car, and Saturday visitors may return for free on Sunday. Call (859) 846-4049.
