Sunday's high school basketball highlights

Girls

■ Alesha Prince scored the go-ahead basket with 16 seconds left, and Bryan Station hung on to beat Holmes 63-62 in the Kentucky Bank Holiday Classic at Bourbon County. Prince, a junior center, had 15 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

■ Lisa Hack and Ali Ross scored 15 and 13 points to lead Lafayette to a 40-32 victory over Mercyhurst Prep.

■ Senior guard Talaken Myers scored a career-high 16 points to go with five rebounds and five steals, and Paris beat Meade County 44-39 in the Kentucky Bank Holiday Classic at Bourbon County.

■ Sophomore guard Taylor Kelly had 14 points and nine assists in Woodford County's 61-47 victory over Bourbon County in the Kentucky Bank Holiday Classic.

■ Mackenzie Lee scored 20 points for Madison Central in a 66-48 win over Madisonville.

■ Sophomore forward Kelli Dixon's 22 points and 11 rebounds helped Walton Verona to a 49-37 victory over McCreary Central in the Kentucky Bank Holiday Classic.

Boys

Henry County went 9-for-14 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter and beat host Sayre 50-47 in the Gene Kirk Classic. Senior Ryan Brady led Sayre (2-5) with 11 points. Cody Hinkle scored 19 for Henry County (8-2).

■ Tanner Napier had 16 points to lead Lafayette to a 73-43 rout of Wanneroo (Australia) in the KFC/Taco Bell Holiday Homecoming Tournament at Marion County.

■ Senior Richie Phares scored 19 points, junior Ge-Lawn Guyn 15 and junior Dakotah Euton 12 in Scott County's 77-56 victory over Madison Central in the Gateway Classic at Montgomery County. Senior Terry Jarvis had 18 for Madison Central.

■ Senior guard D.J. Hall had 14 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots to lead Marion County to a 57-53 win over West Jessamine in the KFC/Taco Bell Holiday Homecoming Tournament at Marion County. Junior Jarrod Polson scored 14 for West Jessamine.

Paintsville went 27-for-31 from the free-throw line and beat Pike Central 75-61 in the Pikeville Invitational. Sophomore Josh Green and eighth-grader Trevor Tiller combined to hit 21 of 24 free throws. Green led all scorers with 33.

■ Matt St. John scored 33 points, and South Laurel beat Boyle County 83-70 in the Cumberland Falls Invitational at Corbin.

Campbellsville missed 23 of its first 27 shots but rallied for a 53-52 overtime win over Blackburn, Australia in the Coca Cola/Campbellsville University Holiday Classic. Junior forward Thomas Downs Jr. had 21 points and seven rebounds for the Eagles.

■ Senior point guard James David Strange had 38 points, eight rebounds and six assists as Pineville beat host Harlan County 66-57 in the Black Bear Holiday Tournament.
