Veterans parade set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday

Herald-Leader Staff Report

Lexington's Veterans' Day parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

The parade will travel along Main Street and has the city cautioning that downtown traffic will be congested as some streets are closing to accommodate the festivities.

Midland Avenue will be closed from Third to Main streets beginning at 2 p.m., and Main will be closed from Midland to Mill Street beginning around 3:30 p.m.
