7 arrested at Laurel Co. meth lab

Seven adults were arrested Saturday after Kentucky State Police found an active methamphetamine lab at a home in Laurel County, state police said.

There were two children — ages 2 and 11 — with the adults at the home on Old State Road. State police placed the children in protective custody and contacted the Laurel County Department of Families and Children.

The meth lab was reported to police about 5 p.m. Saturday. The seven adults, who are being held at the Laurel County jail, include: Earl E. Yaden, 42, and Tina J. Nantz, 44, both of Lily, were charged with first-degree manufacturing meth and fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child.

Kenneth W. Taylor, 22, of London, Jeremy Jones, 22, of Lily, and Brittany K. Yaden, 21, of East Bernstadt, were charged with fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child.

Dion K. Mayne, 21, of Lily, was charged with first-degree manufacturing meth, fourth-degree controlled endangerment to a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.

David Jones, 25, of Lily, was charged with first-degree manufacturing meth, fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
