Woman stabbed in Richmond hotel

A Richmond woman was found stabbed multiple times about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in a room at the Quality Quarters Inn, according to Richmond police.

Sgt. Willard Reardon said the woman was taken to Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center then transferred to University of Kentucky Hospital. Reardon said the woman, whose name was not being released, is a local resident in her 30s but was a guest at the hotel on North Killarney Lane near the Eastern bypass. Reardon said no arrests have been made but that police have persons of interest they are looking for. Richmond detectives were still working the crime scene late Sunday night.
