Barns burn near Woodford subdivision

Firefighters in Woodford County spent part of Tuesday evening battling barn fires near Versailles.

Three fires were reported about 5 p.m. not far from the Gleneagles subdivision off U.S. 60, said Versailles Fire Chief Frankie Shuck, who sent a tanker to assist the county firefighters.

It was not known what caused the fires.
