Letcher County man dies in Pike County wreck

A Letcher County man died in a single vehicle accident in Pike County at about midnight Wednesday, Kentucky State Police said.

William Hodge, 34, of Jenkins, was driving his 1997 Ford Ranger pickup on Ky. 610 near Dorton when he lost control and crashed.

He was taken to Jenkins Community Hospital, where the was pronounced dead about 1 p.m. Thursday by assistant Letcher County Coroner Robert Campbell.
