Jackson teen killed in crash

A Jackson County teenager died when the car he was driving made a left turn into the path of a tractor-trailer and was hit, Kentucky State Police said.

Aaron R. Snider, 18, of Annville, was driving a 1996 silver Lincoln Continental on Ky. 192 and turned left onto westbound Hal Rogers Parkway Friday afternoon.

A tractor-trailer driven by Jamie R. Brown, 31, of North Carolina was headed east on the parkway when it struck the Lincoln on the driver's side. Neither Brown nor his passenger was hurt, police said.

Another car headed west on the parkway, a 2006 red Pontiac G6, was also involved in the crash. The Pontiac's driver, Natasha Henson, 18, of Manchester, and her passenger, Timothy Johnson, 22, of Manchester, were taken to St. Joseph Hospital of London, police said.

All drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts, state police said.
