Inmate escapes Lexington prison

An inmate escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington Saturday night, Kentucky State Police said.

Charles Ray Locke, 53, escaped at 8:33 p.m. and might have been heading toward the Daviess County area.

Locke is white, 160 pounds and 5 feet, 10 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a butterfly and snake tattoo on his chest and a spider and Russian emblem tattooed on his left arm.

Anyone with information on Locke's whereabouts is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555.
