New traffic signal on U.S. 62 in Scott County

A new traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 62 and Iron Works Pike in Scott County will be activated fully at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Until then, the signal will be flashing yellow.

Variable message boards reading "SIGNAL ACTIVE 4-14-09" near all four approaches to the intersection are to be turned on Thursday, according to the state transportation cabinet.
