Albany man dies 6 days after crash

A 72-year-old Clinton County man died Thursday, nearly a week after he was involved in a two-vehicle head-on crash.

J.D. Cross of Albany died at University of Kentucky Hospital, where he was brought after he and his wife were involved in the crash on Wisdom Dock Road during a rainstorm on May 1, according to the Fayette County coroner's office.

His wife, Betty Cross, died shortly after the crash.
