Three men face rape and sodomy charges after they allegedly attacked a woman Wednesday night, Lexington police say.
A woman told police that three men raped and sodomized her in a wooded area near 1050 Russell Cave Road just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lexington police Sgt. Ann Gutierrez said. The woman knocked on doors in the area until someone helped her call the police, Gutierrez.
Police arrested Antonio Munoz-Lopez, 33, Jobani Loan Basques, 28, and Ruben Cruz, 29, shortly after they received the call. Each was charged with one count of rape and one count of sodomy.
Gutierrez said the woman and men were "recent acquaintances."
The woman had multiple bruises, scrapes and cuts. She was treated at University of Kentucky Hospital.
