Woman shot in chest

A woman is recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest and police have arrested the man they believe fired the gun.

The Pikeville Medical Center notified Kentucky State Police just before 1 a.m. Saturday that they were treating Andrea Dull, 31, for a single gunshot wound. She remains in stable condition.

Police later charged Keith O. Williams with assault. He is being held in the Pike County Detention Center.

The case remains under investigation, police say. No further details of the case were made available by police.
