60 Ky. guard members to help storm relief effort

More than 60 Kentucky Army National Guard members and 29 trucks and humvees will deploy Thursday morning in support of Hurricane Gustav relief missions in Louisiana.

The 2123rd Transportation Company is expected to depart about 11 a.m. from the Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond. The guardsmen will transport supplies, personnel and equipment in Alexandria, La.
