Racing back in time

For many fans, Keeneland means sycamores in the paddock, ivy-covered stone walls, and racing up close and personal. But in recent years, a day at the races also has meant big crowds, long lines at the betting windows and nowhere to sit. To address those issues, the racetrack hired top sports architecture firm HOK Sport to develop a master plan with an eye toward expansion.
