A Georgetown man has been charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of his wife.

Angela Lee Clark Slucher, 24, died Oct. 5 when the 2003 GMC Sonoma in which she was a passenger crashed on the off-ramp of the Interstate 75 exit at Newtown Pike.

Her husband, Larry Wayne Slucher II, 32, was driving more than 90 miles per hour when he lost control and hit a tree and a rock embankment, according to police records filed in Fayette District Court. Records indicate that his blood-alcohol level was 0.2.

Slucher is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 26.
