Gregory Collins, 42, of Whitesburg died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

Collins was driving a 1998 Dodge Neon north on Ky. 15 in Dry Fork (Letcher County) at 7:58 a.m. when the car drifted off the shoulder and hit a guardrail, state police said.

The car then crossed the road, went into a ditch, crossed back over the road, hit the guardrail again and overturned in the road.

Collins was thrown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt.

He was pronounced dead at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
