Richmond police to net 31 in drug bust

Richmond police began to arrest 31 people in connection with a 10-month long drug investigation.

Police said 17 Richmond residents had been arrested as of 4 p.m. Tuesday on drug trafficking charges.

During the investigation, undercover officers with the department's narcotics unit said they bought from the suspects a variety of drugs, including cocaine, hydrocodone, morphine, methylphenidate, methadone and oxycodone.
