A Mount Sterling man who was on leave from the Marine Corps died Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle on Ky. 191 in Wolfe County.
Steven Adkins, 21, was traveling east when he was thrown from his 2007 Yamaha and hit a guard rail, Kentucky State Police said. He was not wearing a helmet.
Adkins was pronounced dead at the scene by Wolfe County Deputy Coroner Gary Sparks.
