Two people died Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck in front of a body shop in Elliott County, Kentucky State Police said.

The accident occurred about 3 p.m. Wednesday when E.H. Evans, 74, of Sandy Hook and Lisa Ann Crockett, 36, of Olive Hill were traveling south on Ky. 7 in the community of Bruin, said police, who have not determined who was driving the vehicle. The driver lost control of the vehicle, and it flipped several times near Bruin Body Shop. Evans and Crockett were thrown from the vehicle. They died at the scene.
