A Pulaski County woman was killed early Thursday and three other people were seriously injured when two vehicles collided.
Amanda G. Neely, 21, had to be extricated from the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck 15 miles south of Somerset, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
Neely was driving north on U.S. 27 toward Somerset in a 1995 Mustang when the car crossed the center line and hit a southbound 1998 Jeep driven by Joshua Ware, 19, of Ferguson, according to a news release.
Ware and two passengers in Neely's car, Ashlee Worley, 25, and Michael Messamore, 27, both from the Somerset area, were flown to University of Kentucky Hospital, authorities said.
Worley and Messamore were listed in critical condition Thursday evening, and Ware was in serious condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
