July 15, 2009

Kentucky State Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Marion County where a man and woman involved in a custody dispute were found dead.

State police received a call from the Lebanon Police Department about a possible shooting about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. State police found James R. Brady, 30, and Cindy M. Tucker, 28, dead at the residence at 2245 Danville Highway.

A gun was recovered at the scene.

The two were involved in a custody dispute, state police said. And they had appeared in Marion County District Court earlier Wednesday in reference to an emergency protective order.

Autopsies are scheduled for Thursday in Louisville.
