Former University of Kentucky guard Jodie Meeks scored 29 points, 25 in the second half, in the Milwaukee Bucks' 84-83 loss to the Raptors in an NBA Summer League game Thursday.

Meeks, who was 4-for-8 on three-point attempts, made a three with 15.1 seconds remaining to give the Bucks an 83-82 lead. Toronto's Quincy Douby answered with a long-range two-pointer with 1.3 seconds left to send the Bucks to their only defeat of the summer league in Las Vegas.

The Raptors led 44-40 at halftime, but Milwaukee exploded out of the break with an 11-0 run. Meeks got the hot hand, shooting 3-for-3 from behind the arc in a 13-point third quarter. The former Cat closed the game by scoring 12 of the Bucks' 18 points in the fourth.

Meeks, a second-round draft pick, averaged a team-best 19.0 points during Milwaukee's five summer league games. He scored at least 14 points and shot better than 50 percent from the field in every game. In 32.2 minutes per game, Meeks shot 56 percent from the field, 53 percent from three-point range and 82 percent from the free-throw line.

His minutes per game were second only to lottery pick Brandon Jennings (32.4), who will be competing for the team's starting point guard position.
