A Harrodsburg doctor indicted on a murder charge in connection with his wife's death will be unable to practice medicine until the case is resolved.

Dr. Steven C. Hall, 47, has pleaded not guilty to charges that he hit his wife, Isabel Hall, 49, with a pontoon boat while the couple was celebrating their anniversary on Lake Herrington May 29.

Hall, a family practitioner, made an agreement with the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure in which he agreed not to practice until the criminal charges are dismissed or a final judgment is entered in his case. After that, a panel set up by the board will consider Hall's situation.

Hall remains in the Boyle County Detention Center on $2 million cash bond.
