Pikeville College: James Hurley has been named vice president and special assistant to the president. Hurley, of Pikeville, has been the principal of Belfry Middle School for the last five years.

Finance

Commonwealth Bank: Ryan Steger has been promoted to co-president and co-CEO of the Mount Sterling bank.

Peoples Exchange Bank: Glenna Stewart has joined the bank as a mortgage loan specialist and will manage the new Richmond loan production office.

Wealth Management of Kentucky: Seward Totty, an investment executive, has joined the Lexington branch.

Other

International Equestrian Festival: Kent Hopper has been named trade show director for the festival that will be held September 25-October 10, 2010, at the Lexington Convention Center.

WEKU-FM: Keith Neisler has joined the staff as program director. Neisler comes to the station from KIOS-FM in Omaha where he served as local Morning Edition host for the past six years.
