Two pedestrians were hit by a pickup truck in Marion County Friday night, killing one and injuring the other.

The two women were walking along U.S. 68 about four miles west of Lebanon when they were hit by a truck driven by David A. Grimes, 51, of Mount Washington at 8:39 p.m., state police said.

Ladonna J. Sallee, 36, of Elk Horn was pronounced dead at the scene. Trena R. Summers, 32, of Campbellsville was taken to Spring View Hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

Summers was cited for alcohol intoxication, state police said.
