The mother of all reality shows, MTV's The Real World, will have an open casting call in Lexington on Oct. 29.

Casting directors will be at The Tin Roof, 303 South Limestone, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to find roommates of the 24th season of the show, which began in 1992. Applicants, who must be 18 to 24 years old, are asked to bring a recent picture of themselves (which will not be returned) and a photo ID.

This season, Real World producers are specifically looking for "a person who is physically challenged, an individual struggling with weight issues, someone who has been affected by a natural disaster, a cast member who is a product of home or alternative schooling, and an individual who wants to bring the spotlight ... to a cause, condition or social issue they care deeply about or are personally affected by," said the release.

The site of this year's Real World house has not been disclosed. Past seasons have been filmed in most every major U.S. city and some foreign locales.
