Oct. 30: Oh so creepy: On Ghost Whisperer, the Headless Horseman from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is haunting Melinda. Then she freaks out when the book mysteriously shows up at her son's school. 8 p.m., CBS.

Oct. 30: How cool is this? On Medium, Allison has vivid nightmares that insert her into scenes from the classic horror film Night of the Living Dead. OK, well, maybe that's not so cool for Allison. 9 p.m., CBS.

Oct. 31: Fear Fest '09 celebrates the scariest day of the year with a marathon of frightening flicks, including Halloween, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Night of the Living Dead and more. 7:30 a.m., AMC (Check listings for lineup and times).

Nov. 1: If you're still in the mood for something spooky, Kentucky Life takes you to Hell for Certain and the Bardstown Ghost Trek 7:30 p.m., KET2. (First airs at 8 p.m. Sat. on KET.)

Nov. 1: Football steps aside for Game 4 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. 8 p.m., Fox. Instead of football, NBC is showing the 2004 hit National Treasure. 8 p.m.
