The Pistons say forward Tayshaun Prince will be out of the lineup indefinitely due to a small rupture of a disc in his lower back.

Woods, Mickelson in final pairing
A rivalry that was renewed six weeks ago in Atlanta continued halfway around world in China when Tiger Woods stalled with pars and Phil Mickelson poured in three birdies over his last five holes for a 5-under 67 and a two-shot lead over Woods and Nick Watney in the HSBC Champions, the final World Golf Championship of the year.
"I know we are both looking forward to it," said Mickelson, who was at 14-under 202 in Shanghai. "I think it will be a fun day, and we are excited to be playing in the last group here in China."
It will be the first time the world's top two players have been in the final group since their Duel at Doral in 2005, when Woods rallied from a two-shot deficit in the final round to win by one.
Woods wasn't terribly pleased to be in this position. He took his first outright lead of the tournament with a 15-foot birdie putt on the eighth hole. After another 15-foot birdie putt on the 10th, his lead was up to two. That turned out to be his last birdie of the round. "I didn't putt as well as I did the first two days," Woods said.
South Korea's Bo Bae Song birdied the final hole for a 7-under 65 and a one-stroke lead in the Mizuno Classic in Shima, Japan. Song had six birdies in a front-nine 30, then had two birdies and bogey on the final nine holes Saturday to reach 11 under at Kintetsu Kashikojima.

When confetti runs out, fans toss files
New York City office workers who got carried away during the Yankees victory parade Friday apparently began tossing files and documents out the window when they couldn't get their hands on confetti. Auditor Damian Salo attended the Manhattan parade. He tells The New York Post he found all sorts of personal financial documents in the mountains of shredded paper tossed from skyscrapers as the players rode up Broadway. They included pay stubs, banking data, law firm memos and even some court files.
The Washington Nationals declined their $10 million option on outfielder Austin Kearns and are paying a $1 million buyout. The 29-year-old Kearns hit .195 with three homers and 17 RBI in 174 at-bats this season, when he was hampered by a thumb problem.
The last word
Dolphins linebacker Jason Taylor on New York football fans:
"The Giants' fans are a different type of people, just put it that way. There's a little more class on the Giants' side and some Jets fans take the 'cl' out of class."
