Fresh off Friday's victory over Boston, the Kentucky women's basketball team plays host to Butler on Sunday.

UK beat Boston 92-58 in the nation's first Division I game of the season. It was the most points the Wildcats had scored since reeling off 105 against Tennessee State on Dec. 22, 2005. The 34-point margin was the largest since the Cats beat Memphis by 35 (86-51) on Dec. 30, 2006.

"We have a quick turnaround here in that we have just one day to prepare for Butler," UK Coach Matthew Mitchell said. "I thought we played with a lot of passion and intensity on Friday, and I hope we can carry that tempo into Sunday's game."

Butler is opening its season in Memorial Coliseum after a 78-47 win over DePauw in its only exhibition game.

Four starters, including 2008-09 leading scorer Brittany Bow en, return from last year's Butler team, which finished 20-12 and advanced to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament.

The last time UK played Butler was in 2004, when the Cats beat the Bulldogs 82-44. Kentucky is 3-0 all-time against Butler and 13-0 against teams from the Horizon League.

Single-game general admission tickets are available for $5 adults, $2 senior citizens and children 6-18. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free. UK students, faculty and staff also are admitted free.
