Madison crash kills Berea woman

A Berea woman was killed Tuesday night in a car accident in Madison County.

Alicia D. Goding, 45, was driving a Pontiac Firebird about 6:30 p.m. when she attempted a left turn off Harrison-King Lane onto old U.S. 25, Kentucky State Police said. The car pulled into the path of a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Joshua Napier.

Goding was taken to St. Joseph Berea Hospital, where she died, state police said. She had been wearing a seat belt.

The passenger of the Chevrolet also was taken to the hospital and was treated for minor injuries.
