HIGHLIGHTS
August 2008: Lamb leaves Bishop Loughlin High School in New York after his sophomore season to go to basketball powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. Lamb averaged 22 points in his final season with Bishop Loughlin.
June 28-July 1, 2009: Lamb participates in the Paul Pierce Skills Academy, a camp in Boston that showcases 20 of the best shooting guards in high school basketball. Among the other participants were consensus No. 1 recruit in the class of 2010 and North Carolina signee Harrison Barnes and one-time UK recruit and Memphis signee Will Barton.
July 5-8, 2009: Lamb participates in the LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron Ohio, a camp for 80 of the nation's best high school players. Lamb was among 30 players selected from the camp to represent the United State in the Nike Global Challenge, an international basketball competition held in Oregon. UK players John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins participated in the event in 2008.
July 8-9, 2009: Lamb teamed with UK target Josh Selby and Harrison Barnes on the "Michigan State" team in the King City Classic in Cleveland.
August 7-9, 2009: Lamb played for the USA Midwest team in the Nike Global Challenge. His teammates included one-time UK target and Michigan State signee Adreian Payne and Harrison Barnes.
Feb. 11, 2010: Lamb is one of 24 high school seniors named a McDonald's All-American. He will play with several other UK recruits in the nation's premier high school all-star game March 31 in Columbus.
March 31, 2010: Lamb scores 12 points in the McDonald's All-American Game.
