Authorities in Lawrence County have been looking for a missing woman for more than a day.

Florence Tkach, 79, of Aberdeen, Ohio, walked away from a family Thanksgiving gathering on Wednesday night on McClure Branch near Louisa, said Lawrence sheriff's Deputy Brent Pack. Tkach suffers from some confusion and memory loss and was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and only one shoe, Pack said.

Police have searched with helicopters and dogs since about 10 p.m. Wednesday, he said. If you have information, call (606) 638-4368.
