Defense has been the most valuable player for UK early in the season. Coach Matthew Mitchell just hopes it continues against the Cowgirls, who are led by Kiara Johnson's 15.8 points.

"I've been very pleased with our focus and defensive play in our first five games," Mitchell said. "Offensively, I'd like to see us shoot the ball better ... but if we remain defensive-minded, the offense will come."

UK is led by Victoria Dunlap's 19.6 points and 11 boards.

Fans who show their football game ticket will receive free admission.
