It won't be as warm as the Outback Bowl in Tampa, but University of Kentucky football fans headed to the Music City Bowl in Nashville on Dec. 27 will enjoy a shorter, cheaper trip.

Kentucky will play Clemson at LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. CST, if you're going to be there. If you're not going to be there, ESPN will broadcast live at 8:30 p.m. EST.

"We've got tickets for sale," UK athletics spokesman Tony Neely said Sunday night.

Fans can buy tickets in person at the UK Ticket Office in the Joe Craft Center, 338 Lexington Avenue; by calling the office at 1-800-928-2287; or by fax or mail, by printing a ticket application from www.ukathletics.com and faxing it to (859) 323-1269 or mailing it to Room A-113, Joe Craft Center, 338 Lexington Ave., Lexington, Ky. 40506.

Tickets cost $70 for club level, $50 dollars for lower level and $35 for upper level, Neely said.

It's a three-hour, 29-minute drive to downtown Nashville from Lexington. Take the Blue Grass Parkway west to Elizabethtown and then turn south on Interstate 65.

The Travel Authority has put together a Music City Bowl package, said Jane Walker, whose former business, Commonwealth Travel Agency, merged into the new firm.

Customers will get two nights in the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel, which is within walking distance of LP Field, and two upper-level tickets to the game for $560, Walker said. For more information, call The Travel Authority at 1-800-274-7135.
