A Berea man has been indicted in Madison County on 143 counts of possession of child pornography.

A grand jury also indicted Gerald Jones, 42, on a felony charge of cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

The grand jury handed down the indictment Thursday. The document says that Jones had photographs and videos that portrayed minors in sexual performances.

Jones was being held in Madison County jail on a $50,000 cash bond, jail officials said.
