LexTran will give back to customers

- jhewlett@herald-leader.com

Next Monday and Tuesday will be customer appreciation days for LexTan, the city's bus system.

In celebration, LexTran will provide free rides to the public to the Southern Lights display at the Kentucky Horse Park on Dec. 22. Buses will leave the transit center at 200 East Vine Street and head for the horse park at 7 p.m.

Also on Dec. 21 and 22, some LexTran drivers will wear Santa Claus suits instead of their regular uniforms. If you catch a bus on those days and Santa happens to be driving, your ride is free.

LexTran will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
