A woman died in a crash on Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County on Monday night.

Donna Kamp, 80, of Warren County, Ohio, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by her husband, Charles Kamp.

After the vehicle crashed on I-75 near Mount Vernon Monday, Donna Kamp was taken to St. Joseph Hospital-Berea, where she was pronounced dead, said Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.

Charles Kamp was listed in serious condition at the University of Kentucky Hospital late Tuesday afternoon.

The crash caused the northbound lanes of the interstate to be shut down for a while Monday evening.
