A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night by a pickup truck in Pulaski County.

Ricky Tucker, 49, of Bronston, was walking in the westbound lane of Ky. 90 about six miles south of Somerset about 11 p.m. when he was hit by a 1993 Toyota pickup driven by Tabitha Bowman, 40, of Monticello, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.

Tucker was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the Pulaski County coroner.

The accident is under investigation.
