Edward Jones: Cynthia Wemyss, a Lexington native, has been named a principal with the firm's holding company. Wemyss, financial adviser in Los Altos, Calif., is one of only 34 individuals chosen from more than 40,000 associates to join the firm's 316 principals.
Farmers Capital Bank Corp.: Lloyd C. Hillard Jr. has been named president and chief executive officer. Hillard has served as president and CEO of First Citizens Bank, Elizabethtown, since 1992, and as a director of the company since 1996.
